The Broadwas site actually offers great potential from a housing/community perspective & the land is fairly low grade farm land. The village of Broadwas would probably be concerned if loads of houses were to suddenly arrive but it would address the lack of accommodation for the younger generation from the village itself & to this end we would gladly explore the options that might include starter homes & affordable homes & providing more business for the existing shop & pub etc. We have produced a few possible site usage plans/sketches as well.

Since then an application has been submitted for the erection of a Summer House at this location, the application was successful.

As head of the plot owners association for Stagsden I have endeavoured to present to three large building organisations the Stagsden development - each building company would only be interested in it as a whole development, which would also be much more beneficial to the plot owners financially.
Therefore, I need the agreement of everyone who owns a plot at Stagsden that we would sell the field as a whole.
We would all benefit from this much more than if we sold the plots individually and as most of us brought our plots to see a good return this looks to be the ideal situation.
